I wanted to share a tool I've been using with my couples clients — and, honestly, with my own partner — over the past few months.
It's called Connected. It's an app built around the daily practice most of us wish our clients would actually do: one expert-crafted question a night, answered separately, revealed to each other in the morning. Built by Josh Crane, LPCC, a couples therapist out of Denver.
What's made me pay attention:
I'm not on the app's payroll. Full disclosure: there's an affiliate program I've joined because the design values are close to mine — they rejected lifetime commission and founding-cohort scarcity framing, which signaled to me this was built to be sustainable rather than aggressive. If you want to try it yourself, my code is [YOUR CODE] — it gets you (and your clients) 30% off the first year.
Happy to compare notes if you take it for a spin. Several colleagues have started doing the practice themselves before recommending it. It's not a bad exercise.
There's also a brief research summary with citations to the underlying clinical frameworks, in case you want the footnotes before sending clients to it.
