The Between-Session Homework Your Clients Will Actually Do

Six days a week your clients aren’t in session. Connected is the research-backed app that fills that gap — Gottman and EFT-based tools, structured conflict logging, weekly check-ins, and a one-tap PDF summary you can bring into session. Lifetime premium for you, 30% off for your clients, no quota, no catch.

Free for credentialed clinicians • LMFT, LCSW, LPC/LPCC, PhD, PsyD welcome

Built on Research

The same frameworks you use in session, operationalized into daily practice.

Connected is not a wellness app dressed up in clinical language. Every core feature is a direct implementation of a specific, validated framework from couples research.

Gottman Method

Love Maps · Four Horsemen · Perpetual Problems

Love Maps feature, Conflict Replay’s Four Horsemen detection, and Conflict Tracker’s pattern analysis are direct implementations of Gottman’s 40 years of research.

EFT (Sue Johnson)

Attachment-Aware Conflict Processing

Conflict Replay’s perspective-first, AI-bridging structure maps directly to EFT’s attachment-based de-escalation. Emotional bids and repair attempts surface automatically.

Behavioral Science

Self-Monitoring Effect

The act of logging behavior is itself intervention. Couples who quick-log conflicts show lower intensity and faster repair times without any other guidance — the most replicated finding in applied behavioral research.

The Killer Asset

The Therapist Report

You spend the first 5-10 minutes of every session reconstructing what happened since last time. That’s often $40-60 of billable time burned on memory archaeology. With client consent, Connected generates a one-tap PDF covering the last 30 or 90 days.

  • Top recurring conflict topics, ranked and visualized
  • AI-surfaced underlying emotional themes across all logged conflicts
  • Trigger-timing patterns (day, time, contextual factors)
  • Resolution rate and median time-to-repair
  • Weekly check-in scores with partner deltas
  • Timeline of significant entries with brief AI summaries

What this really buys you
128 hours — roughly 128 additional sessions per year if you wanted to fill the recovered time.
How we calculate: Clients using Connected consented to share weekly pattern data via the one-tap Therapist Report. The first 5-10 minutes of each session (typically 8 min on average) are normally spent reconstructing what happened between visits. With the Report, that window collapses to ~1-2 minutes. Assumes 50% opt-in rate, weekly session cadence, and 48 working weeks per year. Real results vary by practice type and client severity — high-conflict couples often show 15-20 min savings per session.

Questions therapists actually ask

Is Connected a HIPAA-covered service or a medical device?

No. Connected is a consumer wellness app, not a HIPAA-covered service, a diagnostic tool, or a medical device. Recommending Connected is equivalent to recommending a journaling practice or a book — it sits clearly in the wellness category. We do not collect or process Protected Health Information, and nothing a client does in the app is interpreted as clinical data. You remain the sole clinical authority in the therapeutic relationship.

What clinical frameworks is the app actually built on?

Three research traditions. Gottman Method (Four Horsemen, perpetual problems, emotional bids, Love Maps). EFT (Sue Johnson’s attachment-based conflict processing). Behavioral self-monitoring research. Features like Conflict Replay, Weekly Check-Ins, and the Intimacy Tracker are explicit implementations, not adjacent inspirations.

What does the Therapist Report actually contain?

A one-tap PDF (with client consent) summarizing the last 30 or 90 days: recurring conflict topics, AI-surfaced underlying emotional themes, trigger-timing patterns, resolution rate and time-to-repair, weekly check-in scores, and a timeline of significant entries. Designed for the first 5-10 minutes of a session. See the sample on this page above.

What does the program actually cost?

Nothing. Free for credentialed clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, LPC/LPCC, PhD, PsyD, or equivalents). You get lifetime premium with no active-referral quota. Your clients get 30% off. No membership fees, training fees, or minimums. The program’s goal is to make Connected a tool therapists trust enough to recommend — not a revenue stream.

Will this replace anything I do in session?

No. Connected extends the therapeutic relationship rather than replacing it. It targets the gap between sessions — the 6 days when couples forget homework, re-litigate the same fight, or arrive unable to reconstruct what happened. Connected does not provide therapy, does not claim clinical outcomes, and does not market itself as a therapy alternative. For clinically significant issues (abuse, infidelity, serious mental health conditions), the app actively redirects users toward professional support.

How private is my clients’ data?

Encrypted in transit and at rest. Stored in SOC 2 certified Supabase infrastructure. Row-level security ensures each couple can only access their own data. The Therapist Report is generated only on explicit client consent. No data sold or shared with third parties. Full privacy policy: connectedcouples.app/privacy.
