Two Truths and a Lie for couples
Tell two true little stories and invent one. Your partner tries to spot the invention. Even familiar stories can have a surprising detail.
Something I tried when I was younger

A few simple rules
- Write two true statements and one invented statement. Mark the invention.
- Tap “Ready to pass,” then hand over the phone.
- Your partner guesses, you reveal the answer, then clear the board and swap roles.
Choose a theme, write three short statements, and mark the invented one privately. The phone then hides the editor before your partner guesses. Keep the stakes light: hobbies, food, travel and childhood make better material than tests of trust. Typed statements are kept only in this tab and cleared when you move on or reload.
Make the most of this round
Choose three statements with similar detail. A wildly elaborate invention can be easier to spot than you think.
